80 flares on a 60 series

Just had a thought to help cover my amazing body work...has anyone ever grafted a set of 80 series flares onto a 60 or 62? I have also considered a set of a Land rover D2 since they are thinner and not so much of a flare.

I don;t need the tire coverage in alll honesty...more of a cover up mod...just curious if anyone has tried.

nissan pathfinder flares are pretty darn close and with a tad bit o' trimming, they look pretty good.

i did a test fit awhile back.

This is something i'm messin with, they are off a Toy mini truck.
Keep in mind this shot is made up of two flares but i think they look better than the "60" flares iv'e seen.
