Sent you a pm but Ill throw it up here to for ease of communication. I will throw in like 75 to the kitty plus my labor up here and the gas for the tow rig on the way out of the beach. That would put me in about $100 I guess. I should be able to do the bidding too if you guys want I just need to know our limit. So lets get it hashed out.

I hope you got carolina's pm, he decided that 89 needed it alot more than anyone of us. So i hope you guys don't end up bidding against each other this morning.
 
I've decided that I think it will be better to let 89's (Matt) go after it and not bid against one another. So good luck to him. Besides I think he is going to sell me the things I need as well as most of the rest of us, so I think it will work out well anyway.
Virgo the 55 has all that except the alternator, I'm gonna check it out on sunday hopefully, calling the guy today to try and set it up. So if Matt doesnt want to sell you that stuff then I'm sure we can work it out if I get that 55 which I am pretty set on doing.
 
Ok well I just watched the end of the auction while continually refreshing and matt's wife was not victorious. He was winning with 2 seconds left and when I refreshed to see the final someone had jumped in and beat him. However the 667 he paid for it sounds to high to me anyway. So I guess we can all keep looking for those parts we need.
 
I don't think matt dean got it, some amsoildrl1 was the last bidder that i saw, and he/she bid 660.70 hahahahahaha, what ever dude. Thats about 530 more bucks, than what I would have paid but whatever. Have fun towing, to who ever got it.
 
Yeah I gave him a hollar and told him congrats and if he wants to part it to come to the board. But definitely overpaid, the last winning bid I saw that was Matt was only like 450 so he jumped it like 200 bucks in the last few seconds to win. I think the ebay fever got to him on that one. Lets hope hes a cool guy just looking to part it though.
 
I didnt get it lost by $10 oh well. maybe next time. richard good luck with the 55. thanks again everyone except the few people around us who bid it on up. :(
 
Called my wife from my training class, she told me about the $660.....

Had a few more commitments respond back TODAY that would've given us the money to win, I thought 89s Rule was going to go for it harder than that.....

Except for my dumbass mistake bid last night (I bid $5 on it to see if there was a max bid set, there wasn't) I think a few more may have tried, but I bet that amsoil guy had been planning to snipe it for even higher than that.....

Anyway, thanks to all, I'm not an official Upstate C. member yet, but if anything like this happens again I know we will be better organized.....Who do I contact about getting on the list/club? (Can't make tomorrow's meeting)
 
Hey Rico does that piggy have disk brakes or not? If so I might be tempted to give ya a few bucks for it so I can convert mine to disk brakes.

Chuck if it has disc brakes they will be going on my pig not your 40 sorry chief. I'm checking it out sunday afternoon so that night I'll probably post about it.
