I am late with posting this thread.

While making panels for Bean, I also made panels for this vehicle too. This 60 is very very straight, No accidents, original paint, little rust. In the second picture here, you can see the small rust spot on the rear quarter. I am about to cut this one up.

Panel fitment day. I made the following panels.
1. Lower quarters
2. Rear rocker patch
3. Wheel arches (quarter panel)
4. Dog Legs
5. Lower door skin patches
6. A pillar gutters
7. Tailgate lower patch

After all these panels and pieces were removed, all the existing, rusty metal was sand blasted clean. Now it's ready for Zinc phosphate coating before the new panels will be installed.

Wow! I’m curious if Kelly thinks he could cut 2 or 3 in Off the bottom of the rear quarter and taper the cut up slightly to the rear bumper and get the inner skin to pull together and look good? I always thought they were susceptible to trail damage in the area.

Just a thought. love watching these get Purdy

Very nicely done~~~~~

I just finished rebuilding the grille that I bought from you that will go on it.

I actually have a grille/headlight bezel setup that is nearly done. The prototype looks good. I’m excited for this to be completed and on a 60! Then I will alter it and have 62 round headlight conversation bezels too.

it's doable, for sure. I had that done after trail damage on those susceptible areas - both sides. ;)
