you sure are hush hush about the truck ...
worried someone is going to scoop it out from under you?

if i were you, and i am not, i would take the frame and body mount dimensions and compare the 2 side by side and see if the work is worth it...

just sayin...

BJcruiser is selling a 75 cab for a reasonable price, have you gone to see that one yet?

I just don't have it in my possession as of yet
I have a buddy who is going to drive it to me.
I am going to make some decisions for what I have to do when I get it.

I have one patch to do on a rocker and replace the lower fenders. From there strip the entire body, prep and paint it. The sheet metal is straight except he decided a few years back that the white got old and he spray bombed gravel guard on it.
Need some new springs and probably a touch up on maintenance here and there.

Bj70cruiser is selling a complete dash, interior, cab, roof, fenders hood ect for $3500 but it's rhd.
He is swapping a proffits set up onto the 75 frame.

I would be interested in doing the same just with the cab.
I want the extended cab except with a flat deck and the old style fenders and hood. Its all dependent on how cheap I can get a cab for.

Those 75/79 guys are a secretive bunch. :D

It's a bit true and kinda funny.
I try and keep a log on who has what in the event of parts and such because they are a bit tricky to get info on.

Custom deck on the back.

Just an idea. Could sell bits of the cab or sell the complete cab for a little bit of money.

Be careful with the wide front 79 series cabs there fire walls have cab entry's for cables and a/c pipes in different spots to older 79 cabs

Yeah I am not at that point yet. Its just an idea.
Shipping will probably kill every option I come across.
Will have to see what happens.

It normals case to see that the shipping cost is much heavier than the goods.:bang:
I bought my rear bumper from Proffitt for US150 and the shipping cost me US160.:bang::bang: My bumper is on the way now.

"Cmoney" is also looking for HJ75 cab and bed parts if you locate a good source.

I was told 500 to Vancouver bc roughly
I can get cheap shipping from there to where I live without getting gouged
