Here is the deal I'm selling my truck and I don't want to and wasn't planning on it but I am going to need something I can drive across the country a couple of times a year for the foreseeable future. Except for some minor body work this is a total runner. It was purchased in Fairbanks Alaska and driven to Portland and then to Wyoming and back. I trailered it to Asheville NC where I am now. The previous owner went through the whole truck and fixed almost everything. What he didn't I did. The motor, transmission, transfer case and differentials were all rebuilt 12,xxx miles ago at the Toyota dealer in Fairbanks. Lots of other new stuff, radiator, rear window motor, rewired, halogen headlights, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, 55 gallon gas tank, new fuel pump, lots more. It also has block heater on trans, transfer and block. Previous owner said it would start at -50. Interior is in great shape. All original except for stereo. Tires are 31 inch BFG mudders with less than 3000 miles on them, 5 total. This truck will go 900 miles on a tank of gas. The tank was just pulled and boiled then re-coated. Only rust is around the rear wheel wells. There is none in the floors or frame. Previous owner had the front fenders replaced with oem Toyota fenders when available. Since the rebuild it has only had Mobil 1 in the engine trans ect. It leeks no fluids and burns none either. I would drive this anywhere. I have all receipts for the past 15 years.

Sweet pig!

Just wondering, if you would drive it anywhere, why do you need something that you can drive Cross country?

Not trying to pick at you, but you'll kick yourself for selling this.

can you post pics of the interior
and the rust around the wheels wells
thanks

The interior is in great shape one small tear in front seat driver side thats all. They have had seat covers and floor mats for past 12 years. Only other problem with the interior is that there are two small holes in the headliner but they have upholstery tape over them.

Just to clarify (and give you a bump for having a beautiful pig) This rig is now in NC not in Oregon?

Not interested in a trade for an FZJ80 are you?

:D This pig has found a new home just north of Nashville. Had to sit on my hands just to keep from waving back at everybody on the way home!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Paul, you did a good job taking care of it.
