Saw this rig for sale outside of Rome GA 1978 FJ55
No Motor
Rear Window/Cargo busted out

No Affliation with this sale

I haven't spoken with the owner but he seems to want $1100

and a shot of the back. I didn't really go over this rig when I took the shots since no one seemed to be home. Friends who got owner's info said the interior was rough but they are not familiar with LC's.

Front fenders look pretty good I'd take both probably
Windshield - maybe?
maybe the rt side rear passenger door too?

Keep me in mind if you get her. Lots of good stuff on her it looks like.

I don't have the cash flow for another project but will help point it out if anyone becomes interested

Thanks dude. Ill try tomorrow and see if they paid their bill yet. In the pics it doesnt look bad. at least there is alot more of it then there was of mine. Is the rust very bad around the roof?

Will it seemed intact to me. The missing glass was disturbing to me since we've had so much rain in our area lately. I'll try again on that number and see if I can get an answer. If no motor I wonder if they have the 2F in one of the barns on the property?

Yeah mtr I know what you mean---my mortage is due shortly so I would have to live in that 78 body. I was stunned there was another around--just goes to show!...and I wanna know a little on the history of it too!
 
If I could figure out a way to get this to Utah for a reasonable price I would definitely be interested. I always had a soft spot for late model 55's.

Anyone traveling west with a trailer :grinpimp:

Plus only one side marker light, so I believe at least the passenger fender has been replaced at some point in time.
