For Sale is a 78 FJ40 - I'll do my best to describe it here, but feel free to email me if you're truly interested

I bought this FJ40 3 years ago from a guy in Cincinnati, it hadn't been run in 5 years or so but had been sprung over.

I got it running, replaced the transfer case, rebuilt the e-brake, replaced the radiator, built double-cardan drive shafts for it, installed mini-truck power steering box with a GM pump so it has full power steering, installed GM 1-ton tie rods and tie-rod ends.

Installed full rollcage that covers the back passengers and fits under both tops because I installed both rear jump seats and seat belts.

I then drove it 400 miles to Columbia where I installed a tan BestTop Soft top and 35" BFG Crawlers - the tires are awesome, they're 13.5" wide - mounted on 15" steel wheels

I have the full hard top with all glass and ambulance doors and hard doors. I also have full soft doors and the half "barn" doors.

I also had a beefy custom built 1/4" steel skid plate that protects from the oil pan back through the back of the transfer case

The front and rear bumpers are also custom built with a swing out tire carrier.

The frame is straight and rust free. The body is in relatively good shape, considering the truck is 33 years old, although there is some rust on the rocker panels

The truck runs but needs some work on the timing/carb tuning so I would suggest towing it, but you are more than welcome to take it for a trip around the block

I also have a ton of parts for it including:
Most of a Warn 8274 winch
5 original steel wheels with skinny (original size tires)
Intake manifold and Weber 38 carb

Hey there Saw your post and I'm sure that you sold it already Is due to the age. But I myself just moved here To Columbia And I'm about to turn 16 and get my license and I was wondering if you might have any tips or leads on a old Toyota.

Thanks
