77 FJ40 parts wanted

I have not picked it up yet, but I am buying a 1977 FJ40.

I need a new hard top for it. Just the fiberglass top. No sides.

Also need 4 speed gear shift knob.

Also need a factory Toyota radio for it.

Would appreciate any help.

Glad you found one. Have you seen the all fiberglass tops with the integrated rain gutter? They are making them in Idaho I believe.

Had never heard of that place; after reading your post, I found 'em using bing, and checked out their website. I appreciate you mentioning them, but I am looking for a solution that is more budget-friendly.

I got a few leads on a new top and am pursuing them.

I also would like a set of five (5) stock FJ40 rims; the good kind, welded, suitable for disc brakes. I have a set of five (5) spokers with tires that I'd do a trade or partial trade for or just sell outright.

I guess I could buy 5 new rims, I understand they are still available from Toyota, and paint them. But, that'd be spendy.

Also looking for a set of rear jump seat seat belts for the same rig, a 1977 FJ40.

I've got a set off 4 rims, I think, maybe I can scare up another 1 to make 5. but they would need paint, 2 are grey, 1 white, 1 black.
did it actually come stock with a radio? some did some didn't
do you need the shift pattern on the knob? not sure I have a good 1, I've got a few without.

Rims; if you've got some stockers that are serviceable, I'm interested. Sounds like blasting and painting will be in order.

I put in a call to that guy with the tops. Left a message, waiting for a call back. If I can get a big parts roundup, then I'll make a run up to pick them up.

Not sure if it came with a radio. I've just got a hole in the dash.

Do you have any rear jumper seat seat belts?
