Selling my much loved BJ40 Landcruiser 4 cylinder Diesel. It is imported from the Netherlands and is in excellent condition. Does not smoke, does not leak fluids, engine strong, 4 wheel drive transfer case works perfect. Cruiser is absolutely beautiful and runs perfect. Good Brakes, Good clutch, all gauges work. It has power brakes and a brand new clutch. The kick vents provide you with "natures" air conditioning.
Clean Arizona title in my name. Well maintained BJ40 with 59k original Kilometers (about 37k miles) on the clock. It drives tight and has been mostly garaged since I bought it.
I have driven it all over and have been off-roading in it. It cruises fine at speeds up to 75 MPH (with installed BF Goodrich tires) and also comes with original terrain tires (shown installed on last picture). The wheels on it are the original wheels that can be taken apart to change the inner tube. (in case you're stuck in the Sahara with a flat tire by yourself)
The top comes off, I never did that though. The engine runs very well and has plenty of power. Very torqy famous 4-cylinder Toyota diesel that gets around 28MpG all around. The Low 4 is like a tractor.
4 wheel drive works flawless, and so does the immensely powerful winch that is driven by the engine. (on the transfer case). There are a few nickel-sized dents in the hood.
This is an older restoration so expect imperfections in the paint. There are minor rust spots on the rear cargo doors, but nothing major. All in all, for a 39 year old landcruiser the body is in great shape, and so is the undercarriage.
Seats are not original but they are very comfortable Recaro seats. The radio does work but is not hooked up as it's a 24 volts system and I'm not sure how that works.
Ready for work or play or just to drive it for fun like I did.
Asking $25,000
