Can anyone help identify the fasteners in the attached pictures. The body shop disassembled the rear ambulance doors, and this was in the bag with the latch hardware.

Thanks,
Dave

My WAG on this is p/n I'D as 69353A in the upper left corner inset for 07/75 to 07/78. See p/n 69379-60020, plate back door lock control. Again, just a guess as I am not familiar with the internals of the ambulance doors.

I would like to thank all that replied to this post for your help. Greatly appreciated.

Just an FYI. I am doing a body off restoration on a 77 fj 40. I bagged and tagged the entire truck. My body shop installed the rear quarters from CCOT. They asked for the rear door ambulance doors to check the fit up before I got a chance to disassemble the latch mechanisms. Moving forward... they disassembled them for me to prep for paint, so I wasn't able to take pics or bag and tag the latch mechanisms

What holds the pin for the interior chrome driver side handle to the latch assembly. I see there is a grove in the plastic escutcheon, but the pin seems to fit loose in the handle as well as the latch that mounts to the door. Is this normal to fit so loose? With only one groove in the plastic escutcheon, how is it possible to remove the pin?

Here's another diagram that may help with reassembly. I found it when looking for replacement latches.

Thanks for the diagram. I assembled all the linkage in the driver side door tonight with the help from our fellow Mud members. I still am a bit baffled on the pin that holds the chrome handle on. The pin is loose in the hole of both the handle and the latch. The plastic escutcheon has a grove on one side for the pin??? Just wondering how you would be able to remove the pin to remove the handle. I was wondering if I had the wrong pin, but I seen them list for sale and they don't look like a roll pin.

Kinda funny, I recall driving that pin out, but it's been long enough already that I'd have to re-watch my own video to remember the details. 🤣

I know I've got a spare mechanism in the storage totes too. Are you talking about the black rubber boot when you say escutcheon? I recall that being notched on one side, but it was flexible enough to get access to the other side to drive the pin.
