I opened up the guts of my ambulance doors for the first time today, removing hardware to strip the door down for abrasive blasting.
Inside the driver side ambulance door, I found a bunch of decaying, disintegrating fiberglass insulation. I haven’t opened the passenger shell yet.
Was this a factory install? Or was some creative previous owner trying his hand at sound deadening?
