I used the Advanced Adapter 's t-case adapter, so mods were minimal. I had to cut off a small portion of the flange on the transmissions pan, make a small dimple on the right rear corner and replace one pan bolt with a low profile Allen head bolt.

Did you use their front drive shaft kit also?

Thanks

No, I used the stock Toyota flange and yoke.

Did you have to cut the tub or add a body lift with the 700r4 and AA adapter being so long?

Also what angle did you put your setup at? I think the AA manual recommended 6 degrees down. I need to read it again. How did you determine what to put it at as well? About to do this in a couple weeks and would like to hear some feedback before I weld in all the stuff.

Thanks,
Tim

Sorry for the delay.

No, I did not have to cut the tub, though I did have to trim the two angled channels under the floor to allow the t-case to sit higher in the frame. I also added 1/2" spacer to the body mounts

Six degrees is a bit much for my taste, especially for carbureted engines. Fuel injected, not so much. This rig and my personal rig are at about 3º. In the end, the lower the t-case sits past 3º downward angle, the more issues you'll have with front drive line angles, and the more likely you'll need a CV joint (double cardan) on the top of the front drive line to avoid the u-joint binding.
