Need some advice....taking the tub off the frame and wonder what kind of support the tub needs when off the frame. don't want to tweak the body and get it out of alignment. Is the tub tougher than I think? Want to be able to turn on side and clean and undercoat the boat of tub. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Assuming you don't serious rust, yes, the tub is pretty tough. I built a wooden cart for mine that has 4 support points. And it's currently sitting on 4 saw horses. That said, I don't put my full body weight on it when I'm working on it just in case.

I also rigged up a setup to put the tub on its side to work on the underside. if you make sure it's relatively evenly supported, you'll be fine.

oh, and I'll add this... if you have panels to repair, I suggest doing those repairs while the tub is still bolted to the frame. Just some basic insurance to make sure you don't mess up the alignment.
