Not mine, just passing it along, but I do know the seller. I use to work with him a couple of years ago.

You know it! That's his nickname for it actually...

The customer that brought me the green 40 @ johnnys boyd's should look at this one instead of the one he brought me. This one from the pics and description appears to be a much better quality truck.

BTW Mike if your considering selling the 40 this customer who bought me the green 40 would be a good canidate, yours is mechanically sound with exception to the radiator. It would be just what he's looking for, 4" lift and 33" tires and dependable, still need to fixx the gas gauge.

I am the owner of the Cookie Monster.
The rear sill lwas replaced by the previous owner, but is a bit loose. Just needs to be redone and I am not the kind of guy that knows how to do it. It's just cosmetic though and can be easily fixed I assume.
As far as the engine, it runs great and nothing is wrong with it. It was completely re-built a couple of years ago by a great mechanic. There is no way someone could tell if a cam or smog system is going bad based off a video I shot on my digital camera, that was posted on youtube.com. Posting comments like that will scare possible buyers away and I would appreciate it if you didn't post a negative comment when you haven't even seen or heard it.
I don't need to get rid of it, but since I am moving to Charlotte soon, and will not have a house with a garage, I would like to sell it. Don't want it sitting outside.
The cruiser is in GREAT shape! Had someone test drive it yesterday who has had several vintage trucks/cars in the past and said it ran really strong - one of the best ones they've seen in a long time.
If anyone knows of someone interested in it, pass it along. I will try to get to one of the Lowcountry Cruiser events soon, but am so busy that I cannot commit to anything yet.

Happy Cruising!

You think that was negative. You don't know me very well. I know what a 2f sounds like. I know that noise in your video very well in fact there is a 55 sitting in my driveway with the exact same noise. It's a cam bearing. Emanating from the passenger side of the engine central to the cam location. Also have you ever had your oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge? Your stock gauge shows low. Real low for a motor with 10k on it. ALso you have a potential charging issue or a bad connection. Your gauge is moving all over the place.

Would you like a youtube video of how my 55 sounds?

Not trying to burst your bubble. But if you sell a vehicle to the public expect to have someone point out issues. Thanks for replying though and willing to refute what I am saying. I hope to be proven wrong.
