I’m checking in on a 40 this weekend and wonder what I should check while im there. Im gonna see if it starts well. And then go from there. Look for rotten lines? I think it has an inline 4 maybe? Anyway that’s what going on. Father in law doesn’t move too well and hasn’t started or moved the 76 in a couple of years. It’s stored in a Morton building with a concrete floor. There are barn cats that knock down the mice real hard but stay out of the truck. It’s all original as far I know from checking in on it a couple of times a year. I haven’t dicked with it because it was grandpa’s. There has been some worry about grandpas other kids trying to get the truck so it has been put in grandmas name and is now for all intents and purposes, mine. Im going out there this weekend to look it over and replace the accelerator pump on my Bronco that’s also out there. Any tips are appreciated and will post in real time while I’m there. Thanks!
