Hey everyone,

New to the site and have been looking but unable to find it on here so far.

Im about to start a new build by using a 75 ute cab on the bundrea midy chassis dose anyone know anyone / done this them self? wondering if the mounts line up or anyone that's done it if there's anything I should know before I start.

(also before you ask why not just chop it I laid her over and the whole cab is out of shape)

Any details would be Great help thanks.

If you mean an LJ/RJ73 middy then there might be some stuff that's different. If it's a BJ/FJ73 then it will be more likely it's the same, but they have leaf springs like the 75s

Someone else may be able to give more details, I don't have any first hand experience with it

the 75 series cab mounts are the width apart, the front mounts locate the same, the rear are different ... according to the frame specs the 70 is 1122mm between, the 73/74 is 1170 between and the 75 is 1120 between. the width is the same for all.

HTHs

just for the record, you can take a light duty body and bolt it onto its cousin heavy duty frame with no real issues. the only real difference is the front fender mounts.

cheers

Got any pics?

It's a BJ73 ill have to get some on the weekend but I just cant really find anyone who has done it :(

BJ73, front mounts the same, rear way off.
why not get a 75 series frame and build from that? chop to suit or are you doing a buggy build?
