Most likely 4.11 if it is an HZJ75.

4.30 is not a 75 series ratio. 4.56 is only for a PZJ.

usually when someone asks a general question like this theya re not sure which vehicle they are looking at.
the 79 series is very popular now in the mines so it seems...
cheers

So the easy way to tell if it is a 75 series pickup or 78/79 series look at the windshield and if does not have hinges at the bottom it is not a 75 series it would be 2000 or newer model year and be a 78/79 series pickup.

Wayne - Beans, is that about right or do you have some better way to tell.

Michael

For pickups that is a good way to tell. For troopies that is all out as 75 troopies also have a fixed windshield frame.

Other clues: Wider B pillar on 79 series pick up - vent is rectangular on 79, square on 75. One both troopies and pickups: 5 vs. 6 lug wheels. Coils vs. leafs front. Separate vs. continuous appearance of turnsignals to grille.
