Hey guys I have a 75 fj40 that has been sitting for 10 years and the fuel pick up is what I expect is blocked inside the tank with rust. I can blow compressed air through it but it's very slow and needs allot of pressure. Tried to stick some mig wire up the pickup but can only get about 5" before it's jams up. Anyone got some tips on getting it un blocked?

If there is that much rust in the tank its time for a new tank.
Pull the level sender and look inside, if it is rusty in there you may have to scrap that tank and find something else. I do not recommend buying a poly tank, CCOT makes a decent metal reproduction.

Rear fuel cell is larger (22 gal.), not gas inside vehicle, made with 1/4" thick nylon, lab tested stronger than steel tank, no welded seams, and will never rust- - -just saying.
