Why didn't you use the 79 chassis for this project?
Nice build!
Good stuff!! I like the 75 chassis and 79 cab, shorter, better turning circle and ramp over angle, just needs the coils from a 79 fitted!
Impressive, good work and inspiring. I am hoping to undertake a similar project in the near future.
Thanks for the comments, its a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end. The offroader is another 70 series, it was a 1989 LJ70 with a very good chassis but a very poor body so 4 years ago my son and myself decided to modify it for offfroading. I will put up a thread sometime in the mod section but basically it has front and rear winch and currently working on a mid mounted factory PTO winch. She runs on Maxxis creepy crawlers 37" X 14.5" with a 1PZ 3.5cc engine and gearbox married up to its original transfer and axles which gives us very low gearing for the offroading we do.
Amazing work!
With isuzu tub and landcruiser body.
Is there 100 series seat?
