It's been for sale on CL for 6 months plus now.

I went and looked at it just now. Minor surface rust. Interior needs help. Body has bondo work. The owner said he doesn't know why it was bondo'd, but thinks it was due to an accident. The body looked clean/straight, but under the rocker panel the bondo was just slapped on there. There's some sort of rough coating on the roof. What is that? Some anti rust coating or something?

I dunno if I even want to pursue this thing as the bondo is scaring me away, but I definitely wouldn't pay anything near the $6,300 he's asking.

He said he would go down to $6,000. It's not worth that in my opinion.

Then on the other hand, I found a guy selling one in LA. He said it has a bit of rust and says to me, "the rust free ones go for $30,000 - $40,000. The ones with some rust go for $7,000."

Oh well, the search continues. If anyone finds a nice pig they don't plan to buy, I would greatly appreciate the info!
