72 box in 78

will a 72 box mount in my 78? my 78 box wont turn right and i want to go wheelin today

On my 72 the column is part of the box. probably not going to work.

sure it the steering box i had a broken birf do that to me once .even with the hub unlocked had to drive home making left turns .the 1 piece box and the collapsible wont interchange without a lot of work good luck

oh yeah its the box i unhooked the relay rod and it still would not turn right, i took the column side of the box apart and put it back together, it will turn now but has a whole rotation of play, anybody have an idea of what happened?
