That kink is common to all HDJ81s AFAIK. Martin White had the exact same problem, and was told by ATEB they were all like that. Nothing to do with lack of maintenance or some other sort of problem, it's apparently by design..
Whats the correct model number for these new cruisers? At a dealer I saw one with stickers on the windscreen calling it a 79 Series (however I had a 79 series for work and it was the old shape and 6cyl turbo)
This thread is titled 71 Series, but I have a brochure from Toyota naming it the 70 Series (however the swb isnt featured, only the tryaback, wagon and troopy)
