OK for Mud members first then to the public
1971 Fj55 2F motor new brakes, tires wheels, has 'factory AC' rebuilt but not charged. 3spd on tree, runs well - but hasn't for about a year. Has ultra comfortable Olds bench seat in fron. New Indoor - Outdoor carpet on Dyno Mat. Pretty straight and clean great floors, seems to have been a local SoCal truck all of its life.

The bad Roof drip rail rust - rear window not working - but if i get chance will repair (think its the safety switch) not much use last 2 years.

Located Huntington Beach, $2750.00 I'm pretty firm on that price!
Can't take too many toys when retire - no room.

I didn't start it much the last year. I did start and drive it earlier this week - filled with fresh gas. Started right up and drove fine. Has new brakes, tires, and wheels were powdercoated to match the truck. Has petronix ignition. Carb was rebuilt shortly before I parked it. AC compressor was rebuilt and the receiver dryer was replaced but I've never recharged it - will take 134 now. Rear window not working - discovered this week may get a chance to repair. Truck was a SoCal truck always I think so for rust - floors rust free - lower quarters very little - only bad rust is in drip rails - I'll try and get pics up close of that .

Drives and stops as it should, 3spd on tree - vacum actuated transfer . Trans - Transfer - axels all quiet - For a LC.

Motor checks out by ser number as a 1974 2F

I'll shoot some fresh pics this Saturday.

Yeah it started right up. Drove good. Just cant take 3 LCs with me into retirement - space issue. It's parked at ex's and she is anxious  for me to get it out of the driveway (guess my 1/2 of the house payment doesn't cover driveway space? :frown: )

Work is really busy so i just don't have the time to chase a bunch of stuff around - hope somebody gets her that will love her as much as I have. She's always got me back from the dumb places I got her into!

Reciever Dryer

Pablo got it from CoolStream in AZ Guy is a Mudd memeber and good guy - rebuilt my Nippondenso compressor for me and set me up to run 134. Haven't charged it yet but was looing forward to the original AC keeping me cool - the blower and everything else seemed to work but the belt was off the compressor and the thing seemed locked when i bought it so CoolStream guy said he could rebuild it.

If you want I'll try and dig up his contact info?

That's a great deal. Someone should jump on it. Wish I had more indoor garage space.

Geeez. I'm starting to feel Ike Santa. I had to tell a bunch of local guys I'd sell based on response time. Mudd responder has 1st chance. If he isn't the winner I'll make sure i let the new keeper know about Mudd. Lucky still got 2 LCs I'm keepin.

Interested

Hi,

I am looking at a shell right now and this looks a lot more interesting. Please put me on the list of those interested.

Thanks
