hey bryan.
that outta work. looks like it's probably fairly tight around the nose cone but at least you won;t have to worry about front driveline droop. make sure you build a skid plate to protect the t-case and trans pan.

keep up the good work dude!

good to here from you. I plan on building a skid plat, would you recommend 1/4" plate. Do you think the frame should be reinforced at the trans mounts?

Quarter-inch plate is fine as long as it is reinforced on the inside so that it will not deflect and bend when it is in contact with something.

Also,

Being that you are not using one continuous piece of material to make your support it is inherently weaker compared to a similar thickness piece of round tubing. I would make some sort of gusset/bracing where your rectangular tubing is butt-welded and changes direction.

I also would have put scab-plates on the frame to distribute the stresses out for those two mounts...

But that is just me.... :meh:

Good idea...it is better than the AA mount on the rear of the t-case....

AA's second generation x-member is very similar. frame scab plates are definetly highly recommended. and like steve mentioned, running some plates along the x-member where the different parts butt together would help as well.
