Rebuilding a 70 series disc rear axle and have a question on PN 42311A in the breakdown. My rear axle has a much different pattern (see pic of backing plate below) where the backing plate bolts up to the housing and I have not seen/found a comparable seal with this pattern (have been in touch with Dave Stedman & Joe also).
Does this particular variant not use the seal?
