70 Series parts on a FJ60??

Has anyone swapped out axeles, springs, steering components, engines, or transmissions from a new model (2007-ish) 70 series 4500EFI to an FJ60?

Are the axeles or springs interchangable? I've search but not had much success. Thanks in advance.

70 series axles are narrower than 60 series. No advantage there.

4500 would be a 1FZ? same as an 80 series. Pretty much a dime a dozen these days. 2007 should have low miles though.

70 Series steering box works backwards to a 60 so that too is no help. Some rods and TREs will interchange. Rear springs should swap.

Oh, Troopie, no.

Rears are longer than a 60 and the front uses coils now.

I'd sure like to learn about some details if any parts are available that are surplus to your needs.

Actually 07 could have a 1VDfte diesel at 4500cc. Is it a diesel or a gasser?

Its not in the US, I wish it was. I saw it while traveling in the middle east. If the springs would fit, it would be worth bringing them home.
