For Sale 70 series headrests - Brand New.

I bought these new headrests from Japan4x4/Dave Stedman for my 77 series thinking they would work. They do not work on the older 70 series such as my HZJ77 since it has 10mm posts and these new ones have 12mm posts. Also I ended up getting new front seats so I don't need these anymore.

When I ordered these, I gave Dave the p/n 71910-60500-B2 which is for the newer VDJ76 series and Toyota gave a different p/n to him instead as a sub up since 71910-60500-B2 is supposedly now NLA. The subbed p/n is 71910-60J40-B0. Also Dave test fitted these on his 79 series said they worked. That being said, I have no clue what 71910-60J40-B0 is supposed to go on as the p/n does not come up in toyodiy.

So what I am listing are two units of the 71910-60J40-B0 headrests (two were sold) I am asking $150 for the pair plus shipping (or $325 for all four plus shipping). Only one headrest was removed from the packaging for test fit but I put it back. The plastic inserts pictured are not included in this sale.

Measure your existing headrest posts or the post inserts before buying these to make sure they work for 12mm posts.

They are the Toyota vinyl grey. Can take more photos if you want me to.

Those are beautiful.

They are not only for 70 series. It's pretty much any Toyota with the hollow headrest tubes. I think that's every Toyota since 2005 or so??

Part number is still somewhat of a mystery but the 60J40 part seems to point towards newer model Prado. Just can’t confirm that for sure.

I got one set. They fit perfect and look great.
I have a 75 series Troopy, but have new take-out seats from a 79 series.
I replaced my brown headrests with these grey ones.
The grey ones are of a softer material and have a more supple, luxurious feel.
