I have searched and read MANY threads all which infer to 43412-60020 as the correct part # for a Long Side, Long Spline Inner Axle

Can anyone please confirm this with absolute certainty? Long Spline being the keyword.

when searched outside of MUD, a # 43412-60090 surfaces as the superceded #

any input on this as well?

Your query was for a long spline axle, to fit an elocker, correct? The one that is in my front axle is pn 43412-60060. I took a FZJ80/FJ80 '93-'97 rear electric locking diff w/9.25" ring gear and put it into the front axle of my 1977 FJ40.

The 43412-60020 is not for an elocker.

I'd like to get a chromo version of the 43412-60060. I wonder if Longfield/Trail gear makes it...

my original query led me down two dead-ends, an inquiry with Trail Gear for the Longfield shaft (which they used to make, i have one), and an inquiry for the OEM shaft (with North American Toyota and Amayama).

You still didn't say if it was for an elocker. I'm guessing yes.

You wouldn't happen to have the overall and sectional measurements of the 43412-60060 axle, would you? I just installed it years ago, never bothered to measure it. It would help when asking around for who would make it in chromo.

Are you also saying that the stock 43412-60060 is no longer available from any source?
 
Just ran across this site http://www.carlsdifferentials.com/axles with the following:

NOTE: Toyota F/F 30 SPL Cut to Length Axles E locker is OK. There is enough spline to work for 40, 60, 80 Series LC etc. Long Splines allow the use of OEM cable/Electric Locker, simply cut to length. This allows 1 pair of axle shafts to fit many applications reducing shop inventory requirements.

I don't know anything about Nitro stuff. or how it compares to Longfield, but this looks like a definite possibility. If anyone with a '40 with an 80 rear elocker in their front axle gets this, please let me know how well it works.
 
Hi to all, I need a front long spline axle for my fj73 1988 with diff lock, the part number is 43412-60060 but is no longer available, anyone knows if have any original replacement part for newest model and fit to my car or other maker with good quality? Thanks
