70 Series Camper spotted in San Diego

I am getting this information second hand from my son who was surfing the Cardiff/Encinitas area this morning.

He spotted what he thinks was a 70 series LandCruiser with

a camper thing built that looked like it was part of it... and like 40 leaf springs and it was a right hand drive.

He has been driving my BJ70 to school so now he actually knows what a 70 series is.

Any ideas who has this in San Diego ?
