INCREASE your fuel economy through better air flow!!
INCREASE your power, looks alone is worth at least 25 hp!!
GET that girl you been wanting, is there anything more sexy that you can do to a cruiser?
all BS aside ...

like the one in the pics
don't know the cost
don't know anything yet

but

before i invest a bunch of time, is there any interest in a group buy?
lets say $150 each +/- ...

if you want, make sure you are committed.
it will be cash up front once i nail down a deal. i won't be making anything other than Cruiser Karma so my cost is your cost.

speak up.

You didn't mention if you are open to bartering. ( chickens, pigs, sugar cane based table syrups with the viscosity of gear lube, etc. ). I can have any of these products available on a moments notice. :D

so you can supply me a bug protector and i give you some maple syrup?
wicked.

that must be extra virgin maple syrup. can you put that on the bug shield to attract the critters at high speed? or, correction, full speed?

once it bakes on in the sun it becomes like a permanent fly sticky strip ...
then once the flies and bugs are stuck
then the frogs and toads will jump up while the truck is parked and get stuck
then the birds

pretty soon your truck will look like a wild life sanctuary ...

Looks pretty cool, but as far as I'm concerned the bugs can protect themselves.....

how can you be so heartless?
all those poor unprotected bugs, sad, so sad ...
i'm depressed now.

Being heartless is actually quite easy when you spend an hour each day scraping the d*mn things off the front of your Cruiser.
Wayne, How many orders do you need to make it worth your time?

i don't know, 10 maybe?
they are bulky but light so the more we order the more we all save on shipping costs ... i guess.
i don't NEED any, i have one upstairs that i bought years ago but i could probably "store" a couple more up there.

someone once told me to spray the front or the truck with Pam no-stick and the bugs wash right off. i have never tried it but in theory it sounds like it should work.

Aunger Carcraft in Australia make most of these for Landcruiser and they should be cheaper than a $150.
Search for "bonnet protector" rather than bug protector on Ebay(we use them mainly to stop stone chips).
Aunger also make the side window wind deflectors.
There are also OEM bonnet protectors for the wide body 70 series (most likely made specifically for Toyota Oz by Aunger ) and other series on ebay for $70-80 approx. I have seen them for the earlier 7* series .

thanks Rosco, care to be our go between and see if we buy 10 and get a discount ... or something?

(the $150 i guessed was landed in Canada so i don't think i was too far off)

So now a case of this has to be sent to Rosco. This is getting more complicated by the minute. :D

Nope ,group buys are something I stay well away from. I doubt the shipping would be all that much if they were delivered to one address in north america
