70 series... A few Q's

This is what I'm talkin about! gotta have some resources but this is very sweet. It's a few inches longer than a BJ70, I don't recall the wheelbase. My 70 at 90" w.b. is about 10" too short for comfort on off-camber stairsteppy trails like Moab.

73/74 have roughly a 102" wheelbase (260 cm).

The 70 is 10 inches shorter than the 73/74 between the axles,but it makes a huge difference

i will agree with Rosco's assessment. when i wheeled my 74 years back i felt much more stable than in the short wheelbase 70 on inclines.
the 10" difference also makes a difference on the highway characteristics.
