Looking for a 7 pin harness for my 2008 LandCruiser -- was shocked when I went to look for it and it wasn't there : /

Can anyone point me to a part number or even better, a good link to purchase? I've found one on ebay, but it looks to be for the Tundra only. Not sure if it's compatible.

I was under the impression that a hitch and plug were standard on the 200. Was yours removed? Oh well.

For all things trailer (I have 5 of them!), I use www.etrailer.com. They will be able to help you and have great service.

Are you referring to the trailer harness for towing? If you are, some of the early 200's did not have them installed for some reason. Mine did not, and I had the dealer at purchase make a "we owe" for it. I have pics and part #'s if needed, just need to find them.

My 2013 did not have it, didn't figure it out until about 6 months after I bought it. Dealer ordered me one for free and said it's a port installed item and sometimes they forget to put it on...

^^Note that there's been a bad batch of Hopkins adaptors with wiring that's completely mis-mapped on the 7-pin. Symptoms are no power to the trailer. Only circuit correct was the right turn signal.

Only solution for me while in the field was to cut the Hopkins harness and re-map all the leads with wire nuts. Note also that this also blew a 30amp "towing" fuse at the fuse box nearest the battery in the engine bay.

This is the part you want:
Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Flat Connectors Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring HM11143910

Besides being a way better value than the OEM harness, it has the advantage of a 4-pin receiver built in alongside the 7-pin so you don't have to run an adapter when using a 4-pin trailer.

Thanks for that. I live been meaning to order a plug I just haven't researched which one. Clicked and ordered.

Guess I'll double check the pinout when I receive it.
