I'm actually looking for the Toyota grill with the Lexus emblem. I swapped the front end off an older LC onto my LX
Ok then, I can build the grille with a Lexus emblem, no problem.

that looks right at home on an 80. wow.
They really are a total game changer in utility bc the stock ones are so dated (do not do a proper job), and beyond that, I totally agree, looks right as it should. I get the double take and lots of questions. Kelly answered every question I had, and made every accommodation to his design to fit my needs that I requested, and it came out literally better than I thought it could. Really outstanding workmanship and results!

Interested in what you've come up with for the LX470s. Mine is a 2003 BTW - 👍

It's not for everybody but this is it. It's a prototype, and the headlights are mounted too low in this pic. I have made the adjustments to the headlight height and now its powder coated, ready for install. If I can find time to breathe sometime then I will install it. This took a long time, and it's the best I can do. If I decide to sell these, then most likely I will only be offering this setup for the LX 470 and just cancel building the grille alone.

These comments mean a lot to me, so thank you.

Looks nice. If I understand correctly, you would only produce the light assembly? It would be good to see these with a stock/OEM grille.
Keep up the great work!

Cheers

Thanks!

No, I would only sell this whole set of Headlight housings and the grille. With all these parts, I eliminated the valance pieces below the grille and headlights so it would be clean and less cluttered. I did built the headlight housings to go with the factory grille and I hated how it looked. It fit so nicely, and I’m sure People would be happy with it but I was not happy.

I love this! My headlights on my 2006 Land Cruiser are shot and need to be replaced. I don't see a setup for 06-07 though - is that right that it's not available yet?

Nope, I have the prototype built but no time to finish it.

Thanks for the update! I'll watch this thread anxiously for it to become available.

I wanted to update some info. Many people ask me about the different headlight brands that are high quality. I sold My JW Speaker lights and bought these Dapper OE7 LED projectors. I was aware that the light projection/illumination would be less quality, but I really like the look of these Dappers. Well, I was wrong. These are noticeably better than the JW Speakers I had. I am really happy so far, and they were half the price.

Also, I swapped out to a more simple grille for now. Looks ok but I have something new in mind. :)

This has a classic look with the white lights and simple grill. Looks incredible, almost like the flex kit people were trying to get their hands on

Some changes have been made to all my grilles and headlight housings. Every bolt-on location is fully adjustable now. All the attachment locations which have been welded on, now are bolted on with slotted bolt holes, so they are all adjustable.

With dapper were you able to retain the auto dimmer feature? I bought a cheap set off Amazon and the pair I am using doesn't have that feature. I have to turn it on or off manually.

My 100 doesn't have an auto dimmer.

I cannot tell you how much I love this conversion, the lights (JW Speaker) are fantastic and I love the retro look. Easy install, too.

Can you share what model JW Headlights you purchased and what adapters you purchased? Also what side lamps are you using? Any adapters or mods for the side lamps? Looking at this same set up for my 99. Looks great?

Patiently waiting for my setup. I think I'm in the next batch. I have a hard enough time seeing in the dark and with the stock headlights it just doesn't work for me. Once I get my setup delivered, I'll be installing kc hilites 7" Gravity LED Pro headlights and slimlite LED 6" spot lights. Can't wait!!!!

I'm interested in the LX470 kit. Kelly, what would be your opinion of that kit sprayed in body color? Satin or flat black? Would you produce the grill w/o the Lexus lettering?
