Well, the time has come for me to pass the Cruiser on down the road. I bought this off of Ebay in 2000 and had it shipped to NY from Portland, OR. This was back in the days of the pre-Mud LCML email list. It's been cross country a dozen times, up to BC, down to the SE US, and lots of points in-between. It spent some winters in the NE, but I did my best to keep it hibernating in a garage all winter and just drove beater FWD cars w/ snow tires.
Just about everything on it has been replaced while I've owned it, engine/trans/etc. and I've spent 10s of thousands of dollars and countless hours working on it over the years, but now it just goes on occasional hardware store runs and needs someone with more time than me to get out on some adventures with it. It could use a tune up, basic going through, fluids changed and such, maybe a carb rebuild. Then you can fix the rust if you want to and keep on polishing it up to your heart's content. It's always been insured, but the registration expired years ago, I stopped caring when they weren't enforcing it here due to Covid.
Vehicle is desmogged, with a header with fluid heat riser plate. It has always passed Oregon DEQ with a tune up and a good cruise down the highway right before the test. Factory seats replaced with PT Cruiser seats years ago, which was an amazing upgrade for my back. 80s 4runner inclinometer glued to the dash two decades ago, shortly after someone cracked the dash stealing my stereo (that could just be pulled out by hand).
Good:
-New factory 2F long block purchased back in 2000 around 85-90k. There's no VIN number on the block, just "2F". Good thing I bought the extended warranty!
-Rare rear ARB bumper.
-Interior in decent shape
-Hasn't been wheeled very much, or very hard.
-Just changed the oil and put a new OEM fuel filter on w/ new lines to the carb.
-I wrote the "My First Galley Plug Fix" thread in 2010, and it's still not leaking!
-Lifted w/ 33x10.5" BFG AT tires
-SLCFJ62 light harness w/ upgraded Bosch euro H4 headlights.
-Super stout four bar Quick n Easy & unistrut roof rack will hold anything you need it to.
-Stock 4 speed manual transmission swapped with a lower mileage one from a mechanics Cummins diesel project.
Bad:
-Was in an accident in 2004 when someone ran a stop sign and bounced off the ARB. This tweaked the frame horn slightly, and dented the fender so that was replaced with one from a Salt Lake City junk yard. I had an old coal mine welder in West Virginia fix the bumper, I always thought it was cool with the character.
-Rust in the usual places, mainly around the rear wheel wells.
-Leaks oil from the usual places, maybe "cruiser-normal?" A new side cover gasket would help, I think I have one around that I’ve been meaning to change for years.
-Headliner is trashed
-The old rock chip from a rock on a highway finally turned into a full crack across the windshield and will need replacing. Guessing the bad ice storm this past winter finally got to it.
LOTS of pictures (warts and all) here:

8/6 price drop to $8,000, but feel free to make an offer if you think I'm out of touch price-wise. Feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks.
