Pics #322 through 333 are more recent photos - many of the pics on this web site are older shots in the "before" state.
I have ~ $12,000 in it, that's what I'm asking but I’m almost slut easy so make an offer.
This is such a complete project truck it still has the OEM gas tank plug string installed. Everything works. I’ve put a ton of time into cleaning up R&R underneath the body (freshly undercoated), frame, drive train, and engine compartment (look at pic #322). I recovered the seats and door panels. Rebuilt the heaters. The majority of the body damage is only surface rust. It has the popular crunches on the rear corners, the tailgate needs some work. The drivers side floor needs to be replace and the passengers side is pitted from the hood hinge gaskets leaking. The only modifications I've made to it are: a Webber 38mm 2bbl carb mounted on a 1 to 2 bbl cast aluminum adaptor, F engine headder, canister oil filter, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, seat belts, spring shackels, (all this can be reversed with the right parts). The original F engine runs like a champ and burns no oil. The original 3 speed shifts very smoothly and the vacuum transfer shift works well. I'm stationed out of the country for the next few years, the truck is in storage in Iowa, the original hubcaps are supposed to be with it but I am not certain at this point. Tires are 2 years old.
Honestly - all it needs to make it a really nice close to original ride is bodywork/paint and a steering gear box rebuild.
Other items available for sale or may throw some of it in for the right buyer:
SOR LV head liner kit (will consider throwing this in)
TLC Vent window gaskets (will consider throwing these in)
Advanced Adaptors 27% overdrive with 3 speed adaptor (perfect fit for a V8 conversion for any LC 40 series)
Power steering kit (will fit any LC 40 series but has the parts for an F engine installation) http://www.classiccruisers.com/pages/conversions.html
