68 FJ45LV would be really rare since the 68 was a FJ55. By the fresh air inlet on the cowl I guessing it could be a 65 production. Think only 65 had the louvers at a 45 degree angle. It does look pretty complete and may well be worth restoring over parting out.

Thanks for sharing Jack.

I know you mudders don't like it, but I would love to get such a truck to the Netherlands. I contacted the owner. He's asking 3k and is open to offers. This truck in Europe would be extremely rare so finding parts will be even a bigger challenge (but I like challenges). From the pics I can't tell what is missing other then the coil, the battery, the glove box door and the turn signals. Are there others parts or problems that I may get at with an LV? I asked for more pics but he's not able to make those because he is in a wheelchair. I'd really like to know more about the truck, wouldn't like to pay a lot for shipping and receiving a truck that is ready for the junkyard.

Has anyone seen this LV? Would like to know how the frame is, and how bad the rust is on the body other then the sills. The drivetrain will be a question, but all mechanical and probably repairable. If not I have a complete drivetrain of a early seventies FJ40. Or I can transplant the drivetrain of my HJ61 (12H-T with manual 5 speed) because the body and frame of that one are toast. Of course we prefer keeping it original and do a (slow) restoration.

Wat do you guys think of this one? Maybe someone lives near Motley and might be able to take a look? All your opinions are welcome.

Thanks, Paul.

The mechanical parts are all common to a 40 series of the same age. It's the body stuff that is different and hard to find. Like the door levers, window cranks, rear tailgate parts and such. I don't think it's worth $3000 based on those pix and I am willing to bet the floors are shot. The metal work on these vehicles is not super complex though if you have the right tools and skills.

this truck is close to me........ it is rotted to hell... Its at best a parts truck. Anything can be saved.. but really if you have that much $ start out with a better truck.

The price of the Cruiser is down to $1000 firm.
There is no title, so being sold for parts only.
I see through rust on the rocker panels, on the rear quarter, and I guess there are a couple of holes in the floor.
The truck is pretty much complete, engine is free, interior is all there.
Was parked in 79, so was only driven for 10-11 years. So, the drive train is probably in good shape.
Worth every penny of $1000. Contact me if you're interested. First come first served.
