This has been sitting around for me for too long now. I have a '64 (though registration says '65, it takes '64 parts, VIN supports '64) that hasn't moved in years. It has a chevy 350 engine, Toyota 3sp tranny and toyota gear box, 33" tires, in relatively good shape (rust along the rear cross member where it's common to rust) and along a wheel well. It hasn't been turned over in quite a while, but was in fine running shape when I parked it. Now, nature has gotten into it (mice live in it) and it needs cleaned out. Canvas top that needs attention (plastic windows not terribly clear), no hard top. I do have a second fuel tank that goes with it, but it needs to be reinstalled. Wipers need replaced, other odds and ends as well.
Currently has antique plates, last time I had it in for vehicle inspection it failed the drive train (rubber all disintegrated and steering box too loose). I replaced all then got the antique plates anyway.
Valve cover leaks oil, it certainly needs attention (or at minimum, carry extra oil). It has a tow bar. It's currently sitting at my cabin in West Virginia, and if purchased with no additional work (no battery and engine not started, sold as is), I will tow it to Alexandria for interested buyers for $3k. If no interest at this price, I will spend time to get it cleaned up, valve cover gasket fixed, new battery installed, etc, and the price will be bumped up significantly.
Interested? I can provide more info and capture images next weekend. It has made it's appearance at past CLCC meetings when I used to attend long ago, doubt anyone will remember it.
I almost forgot to mention it includes an on board air (york compressor), add a tank and you can run air tools, pump up tires, etc.
