Saw that one too. Emailed the seller and he said it was a Perkins turbo diesel. With all the insulation attached to the firewall, I'm guessing it's pretty damn loud.

I guess I'm glad it's on the other side of the valley from me so I don't have to hear it.

This thing showed up for a very short time on craigs list but was deleted and moved to Ebay very quickly

Pretty sure it's the same FJ45. I think he has it listed in more than one place. But I don't think it's a scam unless there are listing in other places besides AZ. The buy it now is $10,000 right? His reserve is probably less than that. Seems around the $9,000 price is what it was listed on craigs list for. All I remember it was way more than I was willing to pay. But I already had a FJ45LPB and don't need anymore cruisers than I already have.

are those hoops factory? i like the look of them.

for a perkins diesel it is not worth the dough to me, but that is a pretty nice truck in good shape and maybe a good candidate for someone to upgrade to a modern drivetrain.
