That is soooo nice mate. If I was a bit better off I'd be on the next flight.

You watch, all the guys on here will go ballistic over it! It'll probably end up in the US, they're importing a heap of our J4 trucks over there. Also try posting it in the FJ40 Classifieds, they won't mind. They appreciate any J4's, especially one so rare, in such amazing unmolested condition and for sale!

Good luck mate, it'll be a cinch.

can we get some more pics, this is the second rig from Aus that is said to be a long wheel base but it has the non-removable top????
can you measure the wheelbase?
where is the gas tank?
what carb is on it?

Thanks for the comments
Wheel base is 3065 mm
Carby is stromberg single barrel
I still have the tank and is supposed to be mounted under the drivers seat. took it out for more space
Also mine has the wind up window mechs instead of the sliders an has the four speed box. It doesnt have the provisions for a column shifter so im ssuming has allways been floor shift
Wont let me download any more photos. not enough space.. Do i have to erase my first pics to allow for others??
Catch ya

does it have a 1 speed transfer case? or does it have low range?

Thanks i had a look. big difference is the bolt on front screen panel as mine is part of the cab and the front air grill on mine actually pivots out from the top.
Seems that mine was the very first of the 45's in 62 and in 63 they made some changes for some reason
