@wngrog that 60 keeps looking better and better.

The mysterious oil chugging 2F has decided to begin drinking in moderation

This last check only had me 1.25 quarts down after 490 miles. No oil in the air cleaner area since I changed the filter 700 miles ago.

Crazy ass motor.

That 2F just wants to be driven. It's in the right hands.

2200 RPM, 55 mph with the a/c on.

Yesterday I did a 270 mile loop in the 60. About 70 were off road.

At the end I made a nav mistake at Mathews Brake and got about an hour behind so I hit the road at Sidon and pushed the 60 hard home.

I pooped the hood this am expecting to add 2 quarts of oil and the level did not move.

Unreal this thing.....

More on that ride later. Epic day.

Also of note, the 60 came from Ben Montgomery May 2009 with 217,000 on it.

7 years later I just hit 227,000 with 4,000 of those miles being since I reacquainted myself with it 14 months ago.

@under_psi hooked me up with his friend at Audio Solutions in Florence.

Chris had my 100 since the boil so I drove the 60 and my (new) trailer to 49 Cruisers on Monday and Chris ferried me down to the audio shop. (1/2 way between 49 and Deb Moms house on 49)

Chris hauls ass on 49 because 49 is his bitch.

Wayne put in my POS Crutchfield stereo and door speakers and also added a down facing sub box and amp in the rear.

The system sounds great. @Bodean tuned it for me tonight.

It's wired hot as are the 2 cig plugs. All in the CCOT console. Stock stereo still in place.

That pic sucks. I'll get better later.

I then picked up my trailer that
alpha specialties had gotten from 49Tire where Chris had found me some 205/75/15 8 ply for only $50 each

Alpha has some bad ass s*** going on. This is a built 6.0 going in a JK

Alpha fixed all my lights added new plugs and wires, new jack and packed the bearings for $260

I loaded up the 60 and peeled out

Well, not exactly peeled out but the 100 did great. Felt nice and steady on the way home

heh. my little car trailer is the same trailer you got. I've used the hell out of it, overloaded the hell out of it, and haven't had an issue in ten years. not easy to find out this way, but then again, neither was a trailer that size with brakes on both axles. I wish I had a picture of it with either a crew cab dually on it or the pallets of pavers.

Mo pics of stereo setup

Sub and unused expo gear (guys at Whole Foods think its cool)

I got two hot plugs installed into the CCOT console under the stereo. Nice clean install.

The stereo is nice. Again thanks @Bodean for the tune
