I am pretty sure that will not work. 82-85 there was not spacer behind the 4speed and then at the end of 85 they started putting in the spacer which moved the transfer causing different size driveshafts.

The axles should work fine though.Just will probably not have the rear mounts on the 81 axles for the rear steering stabilzer like the 86 does.
 
Axles, yes... Driveshaft, shouldn't as Kevin noted the later 60's had a spacer between the trans and the transfer (basically mimicking the 5speed). Thus the front shaft is too long and the rear will be too short for your application. Front won't be a CV style either.
 
And the driveshaft/pinion flange will be different as well.

Don't forget, though, driveshaft length can be changed for about $75, so don't let that hold you back. The axles themselves are exactly the same, with the exception of the pinion flange (which can also be swapped).
