Hi Guys,

I wanted to see if anyone has either done this or has some input on pitfalls or considerations. I've got a 62 with a brown interior, and a donor 60 with a gray interior. I want to paint the truck gray, and want everything to match on the inside too.

Any parts that won't transfer easily? I already know about the window switches, but I think I can just adapt the round holes in the 60 door panels to fit the 62's rectangular window switches.

Can anyone tell me why this will be harder than I'm imagining it?

The 60 rear bench seat wont have headrests like your 62 does. The center console may be different. Your 62 has shoulder belts in the rear the 60 doesn't.

Other than that I can't think of anything. I may have missed something though :D

Good name by the way!

Klinetime574, thanks, I would have definitely overlooked that one until it was too late. BTW, I was just down in your neck of the woods and had some good food at Pappasito's as always.

As far as the door switch holes are concerned, pretty sure the switches are low-pro enough to fit in the little divot in the door. Might take a little mod, but not too bad.

Any specifics on the dash not fitting? I know the cover doesn't look the same, but I'm hoping I can reuse/repaint the metal lower dash. What do you think?
