Working on a project and have to decide on which side, passenger or driver side gets the 60% of the rear seat.

Been trying to weigh out the pro's and con's on deciding which side is best.
Any ideas?

My 100, and the Forerunner have the 60 on the driver side. That set-up seems to work well.

My chevy has the 60 on the driver side as well. The down side is the 60 side holds more crap you have to move if you need to raise the bottom. It's easier to throw the 40 side over onto the 60 side to get under it. But a land cruiser has a cargo area too, where the truck doesn't. So...

.

I have a Toyota split rear seat in my Sixty and it is a 50/50 arrangement. All other vehicles I have seen are 60/40 with the 60 behind the driver.

Thanks, i think I'm going to go with 60% of the drivers side. I'll start another thread to show my progress as I butcher my rear seats lol. If it doesn't work I'll install a set of toyota 50/50's i have in the garage.

What are people using to replace their rear seats ??

I bought split rear seats from Marv at SOR.com. ( Not a common item, not in the catalog.) It is just about a bolt in install. Just need to drill a few holes. The 60 is factory ready for the seats short of the holes and a second latch assembly.
