First scorpion hunt of 2010 yielded 6 dead. 2 of them were about 3 inches long. Once again, the LED UV light and Brakleen were victorious.

Yup we got two just last week at our house. One was quite interesting. It was a mama scorpion and they carry the babies on thier back. If you look real close (we sprayed so didnt squish it) there are 5 babies on her back. I want to encase the sucker in resin or something.

By the way, in watching your changing avatars recently, it's like watching VH1's "I love the 80's".

I had a bad experience with a mommy full of babies...fresh can of Brakeleen at close range gives you babies flying all over the place:eek:

Thanks Alvin for the tip on opening season. Only 1 kill last night. Today more ammo getting ready for the season.

I think mine are still in hibernation, maybe after tomorrow night's snowstorm I can get out and take care of business.
Has anyone else noticed after liberal doses of brakleen, they like to sting them selves to death?

10 out of 12 met my boot last night. The other two were in places that my foot couldn't reach. I guess they get to clean up the carnage.

Good job! Nobody gets away with Brakeleen and you get to watch the suffering:D

I found a sizeable one waiting for me on the floor of the laundry room the other morning> I saw a shape on the floor in the dim light and instinctively stepped over it (with kids and pets, its what i do...) and turned on the light. I was a little suprised

I popped him with my shoe and the tail went out straight and flat. I scooped it up with t.p. and flushed the bugger down the terlit.

Also works on cockroaches. They only get to run about 6 in. from first contact, then they are DEAD. Momma gets a little pissed off when I use it though.
