C'mon freshman, post some pics so I can start the build thread.

This is what I know so far ----

New 4 row radiator
New mounts for A/A propeller shaft in rear of t-case
New bent&twisted mid drivetrain mounts
New motor mounts
Moved entire d-train forward 1 " or so
New fan shroud
New oil pan protection
Possibly deleting second battery and adding solar panel
Reconfigure airbox to snorkel for crammed ass engine bay
New dual tank switch for fuel injected motor
New fuel pumps and filters
New exhaust
Camaro oil pan to replace low hanging truck unit

Can't wait to take it out to James place and remodel that mud hill.

Finally after 7 years installing heater.

he is going to need a rear axle to handle 350hp before links. I will try to get some pics up, coming together very well. Ordered the Howell engine harness today. Going to be a nice ride

OOOOOOOOOO!!!

I have a Howell engine harness in my FJ40, YES indeed you will like it, installs really easily too.

ordered an LS1 oil pan for 3" more ground clearnce so he doesn't rub speed bumps at the mall

But we want to see pics,

Denied once yes you were but the hill is waiting John......and it awaits your return :) If it's a bone daddy equipped approved rig you know it will stay together, his qualified R&D crew in enginering has worked out the weak links in design. (insert Captain Morgan pose here) :)

here you go

Fap, fap, fap, fap, fappity, fap, fap.........

Jeez John-
I took a look at the install that Eric's doing for ya, I'm not so sure that the rest of your cruiser will be able to handle the new power plant - your going to wet yourself.

Tim

Hey John, sounds like maybe it's time to take it over to Tim's when Eric is done with it.

I can see it now, John in the left hand turn lane, small gap comes up, he punches it, lifts the front end off the ground , and just goes straight down the middle of the road.

Yes Tim, that is why it is so nice to have Jame's place, go thrash, break, call AAA and go home. Or bring trailer. I am well aware that there will be a shake down period. And I have learned, that is an LQ9 not an LQ4 which means it is rated at north of 350 hp and puts out about 380 ft lbs. of torque. I see a new traction bar and possibly a rear axle under the tree. There is an M! under there also. Not old military, brand new manufactured WWII M1 30. cal. carbine. Time to go chop wood with Mudrak.

Oh Im sorry do you want me to take it back and get the LQ4? Those power #'s are before Howell does there magic.

no, no son, you just keep doin what your doin. Don't let these guys distract you from your art.

wish more peeps took adavantage of the rock pile, tree pile etc, really helps work the gremilins out on the trail. How do you all think I keep something as sexy as my 4runner as trail worthy as it is???

I guess the housing market has recovered? That's one saxxy beast

Coming around slowly, nothing simple on this job. Centered the motor, centered and lowered radiator, reworked Ps hoses, re did T case shifters, all motor/ t case mounts done, fuel system almost done. Got a pile of parts in the mail today to keep me going and best case get it started by the end of the weekend. Tomorrow I got to make a new fan shroud.

Awesome, I,ll drop off another gallon of Captain. Go baby, go. Can,t wait for the mud run. Been staring at my motor pic all week.
