Freshman, Howell has the O2's listed at 115 for the 3 wire and 60 for the 4 wire . The fuel gauge with hose they had was for the shrader valve on tpi fuel rail so I am searching, will drop off fuel gauge with cash and discuss arb pump location, switch install, wiring relay's needed, driveline situation, battery etc.. I will bring the tube fenders as well. I agree that now it is finally done and all the misc. issues delt with it is prolly time to rerun all wires into a harness.
 
Pees - please post pics of the tube fenders with info, don't think I can get mine back straight for the upteenth time, curious what you found.
 
Eric, exhaust manifold on its way to your house.
Please pick up hose and gauge for fuel pressure as I am having trouble finding hose that is rated for the pressure that is braided, I know the rubber hose is good but thought if I could find some braided. Not huge tho, can always be done later but I prefer to do it now so all leaks and such are tested and ywhen it leaves your place you are 100% satisfied, that is my goal cause if you are happy I am happy knowing it was done right, checked, handled. I truly appreciate your efforts, thanks man.

James, tube fenders are left over from when I did the huge group buy from Metal Tech 7 years ago. They did a special production run of 14 sets of OEM style tube fenders that I then distributed to all the cruiserheads around the country. I have 1 set left, if Eric does not likey and wants to build his own or I don't use them you are welcome to them for free, I'll just look to you at the Marauder Bar for payment. ;)
 
Stuufing a LQ9 into a 40 is much harder than we figured. Alot of detail work to various mounts, accessories, drive lines, skid plates, shifters, shrouds, radiator, ps cooler, ps hoses, batteries, arb pumps was needed. I lost a little ground clearance at skid plate but Eric assures me it'll have the horse power to drag over any obstacles it might hang up on.

Soooooooooooooo Excited to have it coming together and even more so to have the confidence that it is done right and I don't have to redo or check or fiddle with anything.

It aint cheap either but I don't mind paying for this kind of customer service, top notch , props to Freshman and much Rum coming your way.
 
John, I'm finally building some sliders and could really use some tube fenders to tie into. If James doesn't need them I'd love to play with them.:D
 
Fawk ya. Any specific Rum or Captains is it ? I may be able to get ya some m5000 for KOH.
What are your thoughts on putting the aftermarket baffles in the camaro oil pan ?

captain it is. Should be done tomorrow or tues just need to do the intake and some wiring then going to take it out to do some donuts on Johns lawn, to show him what it can do

Eric, what about the oil pan baffles ? And don't fergit to tighten the t-case crossmember bolts, all of them and hook up the trac bar before peelin out.
Pics are good. God dam this is a good feeling, I love anticipation.
 
exhaust got done today. Back to Eric's for final detail work and it is a runner. I can not believe how touchy the throttle is, dam thing bucks like a bull and if it wasn't in low range it would have been totaled cause as I backed it off trailer I barely tapped the throttle and it revs like crazy, muffler guy was laughing at me. I gotta learn how to drive again.

I agree. Picking it up from muffler shop in an hour, I will take some pics on iPhone. Anyone know how to get iPhone pics sent from iPhone ? I know I can sync it with laptop and then email them. Apparently my pic posting privileges are no longer. I can not remember how to buy stars on here or on pirate so I can post pics.
