Not sure the hoodies are gonna happen. Due to high minimums and the procrastination by me, we missed the boat. Shirts are gonna be sweet though!!!!

Well, then I'll have something very desirable to bargain with somebody else! You'll probably win my front bumper![]()
I feel like I'm going to be the only guy that is stock. The only extras that I'll have are my Ruggedized Gran Sabana, ARB 50q fridge, and Outback drawer systen.
Trades are welcome. Keeps the goods in the HIH inner circle! Wish I could be in the raffle!!! Oh wait, wouldn't fit my truck. [emoji6]
Haha! Dude, that made my night! Black Bear Pass isn't too bad. It sure gave me a pucker factor though. Just keep your door cracked open and your seat belt off. If your breaks fail it'll be easy for you to do a Tuck n' Roll to safety. A helmet might be a good idea too. I normally wear one when I drive anyway.Fridge and Tent?! Drawer system?! Loox-ury!! I'd dre-e-am of a tent. Mighty posh there. The only extras I'll have is a cuppa gasoline and maybe a teaspoon of oil if I find a kind stranger. I'll have to find a cold stream to keep my victuals from spoiling, and the only drawers I have is the ones I'll soil on my way down Black Bear Pass. Fortunately, I'll have my own misery to shield me from the rain.*
(Sorry Dude, the first liar doesn't have a chance. I will be bone stock too, which is why I am the Weeniewheeler! BTW, that's 'Big Weenie' to you.)

Aww, Man! The only time they let me take my helmet off is when I'm in the truck!!A helmet might be a good idea too. I normally wear one when I drive anyway.

17 Days until our departure, reservations are made and my second 90k service is scheduled for right before we leave.
What an experience this is going to be, we cant wait! What we lack in gear and experience we'll certainly make up for with enthusiasm.
I wonder how much gas we'll burn driving from PA to CO!
Don't worry about being stock. I have a stock suspension and bumpers and can do probably 90% of the trails in this area with no problem and just a little patience. I do have a receiver hitch in the back that takes most of the abuse and I got some sliders last year that really give me peace of mind.I feel like I'm going to be the only guy that is stock. The only extras that I'll have are my Ruggedized Gran Sabana, ARB 50q fridge, and Outback drawer systen. Nothing mechanical or suspension changed on this beast. I don't know if my Duratracs count as a mod but I have those on too. I'm perfectly ok with a stock rig for now. I did Black Bear Pass with my 2013 Tacoma and Duratracs. It did just fine.
The "official" campsite (if it's the same as the last couple years) is simply a large, flat, primitive camping area several miles south of Ouray in the National Forest next to the highway with lots of room to spread out. There's no formal check-in/check-out and our group won't be the only people camping there either. So showing up early or leaving late is up to you. (I'm not on the committee or anything official, just familiar with the area). FWIW, we are planning to arrive Wed. afternoon and have plenty of choices for where to park the pop-up and get camp setup. That will give us Wed evening and Thursday to visit Silverton and Ouray and be tourists. My family and I will be camping around Colorado the week before HIH. Are people arriving on Thursday? We will probably arrive in Ouray on Wednesday and take in the town wed thurs. Just wondering if our camp spot is available for early arrivals. Thanks-mike.
Cut off? You are definitely one of the first 30 signed up. It wouldn't have allowed you to register if you weren't one of the first 30. You are good to go.Sorry guys I must of missed the email about the list that made the cut off. Can someone check if I'm one of the 30. I've been checking my email and didn't see the conformation. I know for sure that my payment for the reservation came through.
Thanks in advance...
