One of our guys already picked it up... The thread "FJ40 in Sumerset" is on page two. What a deal....

I just saw that Alan bought it. Figures. I'll have to give him a call...

Yeah, I kick myself for not calling my family in SC to go look at it... :( That would have been a good $500 spent.

Don't feel too bad about it, I've missed more than a few.

Okay, Mr. Hardin...I'll double what you paid for it AND I'll throw in that GENUINE 100% cotton twill, Black and red OFFICIAL TOYOTA baseball cap worn only once by that great man, Larry the Cable guy. Since then it has been hermetically sealed in an old Dukes mayonnaise jar and buried in The Reverend Jesse Jackson's back yard. Guaranteed to keep your coconut warm.

May be hating me next :)....deal may be pending...

Ok, this thread is worthless without pics.

I have commited to buying it, but I need to find a way to get it home.

The price was right...I needed a project/beater rig anyway.

Dan,
I can offer up the 100 to tow it... don't have a trailer though as you know. Could probably find/rent one. Where is it?

Virginia...I am thinking it isn't going to happen...trying to force things is never a good idea. Things aren't lining up as well as I had hoped, may just wait for the next one.

yeah I think that guy was selling two at once. Glad you were able to pry one away. I dig the pinstriping. Is it just the pic playing tricks on me or is it really RHD

LHD. It has some mechanical issues so I can't drive it home, so trailering it on top of paying for it, on top of fixing it, on top of the trips I have planned, on top of some more travel I recently committed to are starting to sap the budget for toys :(

This is a wise perspective, especially in the heat of pursuit. There will always be a next one...

I have had 6 cruisers in as many years, I am not sure if it is wisdom :)

I currently have 5 and am eyeing another. That is stupidity but it's fun! :D

Dan- we looked at that and the one parked behind it. The guy was selling both at the same time. We noticed odd things in the Pictures, for example the location of the gas cap. It may be the fact that we are new to Cruisers, but that looks modified or something. The same with the back "tailgate, and rear light" they are very different than any others we have seen. With us being new we passed on it. You know more than we do, Good luck.

I am done with them, I can't swing it with everything going on. No point in spending the money and never being able to get it here :)
