50 mm spacers for rear springs - good/bad idea?

2005 land cruiser on 33 inch stt pros, 230k on the clock
Just looking for some input from the forum, curious if anyone can share their thoughts.

I've cranked the torsion bars about 1.5 inches in the front, and I've lost the rake, and I've scraped the lower control arm brackets on the trail a few times while wheeling some rocky terrain over the weekend.

I saw the slee 30mm spacers online, but then I saw some 50mm spacers available on Amazon.
I was thinking about ordering them and throwing them on the rear springs this weekend- are there any reasons why I wouldn't want to go that route?

Not sure about your weight but that will probably just pre-load your springs. It will definitely get you a little lift but the cost might be a less than ideal ride quality. Without more info I think you'll need to try it and see what's up. If it doesn't work out it costs you less than $100 and I'm sure you could sell them here.

Not a fan of spacers, more a temporary measure than anything, if the cars a long term keeper, think about setting it up properly, maybe a conventional suspension setup? airbags? heavier springs? Also, adjusting the torsion bars by winding them up will throw your wheel alignment out, often creates front wheel spin on takeoff, pretty cool though if you wanna show off to your mates.

It's a great idea. The shocks and springs are paired to work with each other.
