but it mounts with u bolts around the manifold..........same as mine is mounted, cept this one is off kilter because of the bigger carb
where would you mount it on the firewall?
WagonsRule said:I took the original oil filter off my '65 about 10 years ago. I'm certain it was on the firewall. I could probably look to see just where it had been bolted on there, but that truck is literally buried in my garage at this time. Maybe Krzyabncanuk has a photo to post.
I did look at the '67 yesterday though, and it is on the manifold like you said. Maybe Toyota moved it some time in late '65 or in '66? Maybe the one on my '65 had been moved, although I doubt that. Maybe my memory is just fawked.
